A recently renovated, traditional farmhouse and cottage set in 55 acres of Somerset countryside, including a 13th century mill on the river Brue. Gants Mill is a unique rural retreat, with a 10 minute walk into Bruton with its fine dining, international art galleries, independent shops and local pubs.
A perfect blend of the old and the new, with beams and open fires, luxury rooms and elegant bathrooms, a heated outdoor pool and many outdoor areas to explore. The perfect location to relax and recharge.
While cosy for a family of 4, the farmhouse comfortably sleeps 8, and with the adjoining cottage, Gants Mill is a perfect venue for groups of up to 14. However large or small your party, you’ll have exclusive use of the entire estate - house, pool, garden, orchard (and eggs from the chickens if you fancy).
Gants Mill is a 10 minute scenic footpath walk to the popular town of Bruton with its boutique shops, restaurants, and the world renowned Hauser & Wirth gallery.
Other local walks take in the villages of Cole and Pitcombe, the Hadspen orchards, multiple farms, woods and views of Glastonbury Tor and King Alfred's Tower.
A short drive away are The Newt, the market towns of Castle Cary and Sherbourne, mystic Glastonbury, historic Wells, and Stourhead and Montacute National Trust Estates.
